OMG the Ranchero sauce was awesome. I loved.. loved it..I loved it so much I cried. It was hot, but a good heat. I'd buy the salsa. Good job.
I won a gift certificate to eat here about 5 years ago and I used it on a night they had live music it was a Trio and they were just amazing. It became one of my favorite places immediately. I moved to Denver Colorado and I heard that the wonderful talented Mark Alvarez has joined the family. I can’t wait to come home for Sunday Brunch and the Mark show. One of the best places in McAllen!!!
Eating here today was an AMAZING experience! The place is super nice, the ambience is awesome, the food - DELIGHTFUL! I ordered the Filete Especial San Miguelito and every single item was full of flavor. I encourage you to give yourself a chance to visit this place!

Every time we come the food is delicious, very fresh ingredients, flavor is authentic Mexican cooking. Services is excellent, friendly and available to assist. Chips with salsa and queso fresco with your meal.
We went on a Wednesday night, the trip Tres en Punto was performing. I would go again and try other items. I had the green enchiladas, well portioned and tasty!
This place was very good, only thing was the service. My friend Miro and I went here for lunch 12/20. He had a spicy chicken soup called Tlapeno. I had the tacos al carbon with flour tortillas. He liked the spicy soup I loved the tacos, the meat had alot of flavor. The atmosphere was great I think they only had one waitress cuz it took a while to get stuff. I even ordered a dessert and it never came so we left.
This a very nice home style restaurant with excellent Mexican dishes. The variety is excellent, meats, seafood and of course Mexican specialties from all over Mexico. I had the asado de puerco and the meat and spices were perfect. My wife had the carne asada tacos and she loved them. Every time we been there for Sunday lunch there is not a wait for a table.
